MVS was founded by experienced Microbiologist Elise Crowther in 2003, alongside her husband Martin and daughter Emily Rodgers, and quickly became one of the leading laboratories in both the Medical Device and Sterilisation industries.
With a current workforce of over 15 employees, ranging from a dedicated Laboratory Assistant, Technicians & Supervisors, Administrators and Quality Assurance personnel, completed by Emily Rodgers and Kevin Gidney as active Joint Managing Directors who work both on and in the business on a daily basis.
With a combined expertise of over a century, MVS is dedicated to offering a reliable, trustworthy service so that our customers can be confident in their results, offering a fast turnaround service at reasonable costs. Kevin and Steve originate from both the medical device and pharmaceutical sectors, whilst Emily is a Certified ISO 13485 Lead Auditor and Chair of the Education and Training working group for the Irradiation Panel, ensuring that MVS are a rounded, highly experienced team for your testing needs.
Whilst Elise retired some years ago, she remains CEO of the company and ensures that the excellent industry reputation gained is not only maintained but improved year on year. Emily & Kevin continue to develop the business and its employees, and ensure that the best microbiological and compliance advice are offered.
